The Sign-Up process

Following are the set up steps. Click on each item in sequence and fill in as much info as you can. If there are fields that you are not sure about, you can come back to these screens later on and complete any fields you left blank. The sign up process consists of three steps. The first two steps must be completed when you start the sign up process.

	Set up Company Info - Set up company info such as name and address.
	Set Up Users - Each user can be granted access to only certain journals. If you have an accountant or external bookkeeper that you want to have access to your books, remember to set up a user account for them also. Tip - you should keep a list of the User Id's and passwords in case someone forgets what their user id or password is.

We recommend that you use the installed default Chart of Accounts. You can always add or delete accounts in the future.

Once you have completed these tasks, you will be ready to start using the Web Accounting program. If you are not able to finish everything at this time, you will have to finish the Company Set Up, and set up at least one user now. If you don't finish setting up users or your chart of Accounts, you can come back to them later on.
